December Holiday Open Houses
All Open Houses are SOLD OUT. Check the website in November, for the 2024 holiday open house schedule and when online registration opens.
On-line registration opens November 3rd at 10 am for the December 2023 Holiday Open House dates.
Guests must register in advance. Masks are optional. Open Houses are 11 am to 2 pm, and Sundays 12 noon to 3 pm.
The dates will be:
- Friday, December 1st
- Saturday, December 2nd
- Sunday, December 3rd
- Saturday, December 16th
- Sunday, December 17th
- Tuesday, December 19th
Small transit buses used by community centers, for example, are permitted to park on site. Large coach or school buses are not allowed due to parking limitations.
The Open Houses are free to the public. Guests view six first-floor public rooms festively decorated by the Garden Clubs of New Jersey, enjoy holiday piano music in the Music Room and a sweet treat prepared by the Drumthwacket Chef. The format for all Open Houses is self-guided but Docents are available in every room to answer questions. Interior photography is only permitted in the library in front of the magnificent stone fireplace. Guests may tour the grounds weather permitting.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: The residence is open in December on select dates. Online registration opens when dates are posted in November. All guests including children age 5+ must register in advance. Drumthwacket is wheelchair accessible.
There is complimentary parking on-site. Cars and small transit buses may park on-site. Coach or school buses are not permitted due to parking limitations. To cancel or change a reservation, e-mail info@drumthwacket.org.
