Planning Your Visit

Drumthwacket is open most Wednesdays for guided public tours with the exception of state holidays and August when the tours are closed. Guided tours of the residence are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and include the first-floor public rooms used by the Governor for meetings and receptions as well as the gardens (weather permitting). Tours highlight the history and architecture of the site in addition to the Foundation’s collection of art and antiques which fill each beautifully appointed room.

  • Group Tours are offered to groups larger than 15 and smaller than 50 at 9:45, 10:45, and 11:45 am.
