Spring Carnival for Children with Special Needs
When the 2018 Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Special Needs was cancelled due to weather, the Foundation held instead a Spring Carnival for Children with Special Needs on Sunday, May 12, 2018. Hosted by the Governor and First Lady and the Drumthwacket Foundation, the Spring Carnival featured bounce houses, games, art projects, face painting and a treasure hunt. The Foundation sincerely appreciates the following vendors and individuals who donate their time and talent to ensure the event’s success:
- The Liberti Family – Drown the Clown
- The Zoller Family – Pretzels on Parade
- Dennis Schifter – Aardvark Amusements
- Bristol-Myers Squibb
Entenmann’s, Halo Farm Inc., House of Cupcakes, Jacques Fine Catering, Mars, Inc. McCaffrey’s Market, Saker ShopRite of Lawrenceville, Sweet Works, Sherwin Williams, Stop & Shop and the Montgomery Girl Scouts and Montgomery Boy Scout Troop 46
Please note: The event is for special needs children ages 3 to 8 and their families. You must have an invitation code to register. If you are a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs who is between the ages of 3 and 8 but do not have an invitation code, please call or email the Foundation at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. In the event of inclement weather (heavy rain, strong winds) the event will be cancelled.
