Title

Scheduling a Visit

Drumthwacket is open for School Field Trips and Private Group Tours (for groups larger than 15 and smaller than 50) on most Wednesdays at 9:45 am; 10:45 am and 11:45 am.  Advanced registration is required.

Special Registration Instructions for School Field Trips

There is a maximum of 50 individuals or one bus per time slot.  If you are registering more than one class and the attendance total (teachers, students, and chaperones) exceeds 50, you will need to register for a second time slot either the same day, when available, or subsequent week.   Special needs requests should be noted in the field  “questions, comments, concerns” during the registration process.  The Discover Drumthwacket field trip program is extremely popular.  Please be considerate and check (A) your school’s field trip policy and obtain, if necessary, proper Board and/or PTO approval prior to your visit and (B) your school’s standardized testing schedule (ie. PARCC, NJASK) to avoid conflicts and cancellations.  Cancellations less than three months prior to the scheduled visit, for non-weather related reasons, may jeopardize the school’s ability to register for future trips.  Only Title One public schools are eligible for bus transportation reimbursement and complimentary lunches.  NOTE: Lunches are nut free; however they are made in a facility that processes nuts. The ShopRite provided lunch is either turkey on white bread or ham and cheese on white bread in addition to a bag of chips, cookies and water.  Students should bring a bagged lunch if allergies or dietary restrictions are a concern. To receive bus transporation reimbursement and lunches as a Title One public school, register using the invitation code emailed to districts.  If you do not have this code, please email Serena Jain at info@drumthwacket.org for assistance.

Easter Egg Hunt

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

You must have an invitation code to register.  If you do not have a code and have a child with special needs who is between 3 and 8 years old, please contact the Foundation office: info@drumthwacket.org.  As the event fills quickly, please be considerate and register only immediate family members (parents, siblings) and/or caregivers in order to give as many children with special needs the opportunity to attend.  Children ages 3+ must be registered individually as it is important for the Foundation to have an accurate participant count.

Questions? Please contact Serena Jain, Associate Director, 609.683.0057, ext. #5, Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Holiday Open House

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

The residence is open during the end-year holidays on select dates.  All guests including children age 3+ must register in advance.  Please note, if you are registering for the 1 pm entrance time, you must arrive by 1:30 pm in order to be allowed admittance.  For security purposes, registration closes at 1 pm the day prior.  Complimentary parking is available on site.  The format of the tour is unguided but there are Docents present in every room to answer questions.  NOTE: The quantity (Qty) field during registration is the total number of individuals in your group for which you need to reserve ‘tickets’.  There is a maximum of 200 individuals per time slot.  When you click on Qty, the dropdown menu will list how many of the 200 ‘tickets’ remain.  For example, if the dropdown menu lists only the numbers one through ten, there are only 10 tickets remaining for that particular time slot.  If you do not have email address(es) for your guest(s) at the time of registration, please use your email address.  The system will issue an email confirmation to every email address listed within your registration.  If you use your email address multiple times, you will received an equivalent number of email confirmations.  It is not necessary to bring the confirmation receipt on the day of your visit.
