 Please note that the house is decorated for our 2008 Holiday Open Houses on the following four dates: December 3, 10, 14 and 17, and that the regular guided tour is supplanted by our Holiday Open House format. Drumthwacket will be transformed into its seasonal splendor by members of New Jersey's premiere garden clubs. Bayberry of Brielle, Bridgewater, Essex Fells, Hunterdon Hills, Mount Laurel, New Providence, New Vernon, Spring Lake, Trowel Club of New Brunswick and Westfield. The 2008 theme is Peace on Earth.. You are cordially invited to attend our only major fundraiser - the Drumthwacket Foundation Holiday Gala - to enjoy a festive evening including light supper and music. Special performance by music theater students from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. The Gala proceeds support the work of preserving the house and grounds, curating the collection of New Jersey fine art and furnishings, and opening the house for public tours. Your contributions to the Foundation also help to support tours for schoolchildren from New Jersey's disadvantaged school districts. Tickets are $250.
